This project is ongoing, including my recording of plant pathogens across Ireland, and in the coming year more focused work on differences in plant-pathogen networks between different sites and habitats.
This project is partially funded by the Irish Naturalists' Journal Grant, which allowed me to buy a high-powered microscope (see below) to make quality photomicrographs of fungi and oomycetes.
The primary output of this project is records of plant pathogens in Ireland. These are collated in my plant pathogens iNaturalist project. First records for Ireland are listed here. A second major component is the Field Guide to Plant Pathogens which I am currently developing.

As part of this project, I got a Motic Panthera C2 trinocular microscope. This will allow me to take high quality photomicrographs to illustrate my publications and make precise measurements of spores.
